Company History

Masters Ready Mixed Concrete is proud to introduce its newest incarnation in a long line of family businesses. Masters Concrete Products was formed in late 2004 when an opportunity was seized to purchase an existing concrete products business. The business was seen as a good fit to compliment the seasonality of the Ready Mixed business where winters can be tough in North East Pennsylvania.

Masters Ready Mixed Concrete traces its beginnings back to 1932 when Dick Masters purchased a service station along famous Rte. 11 in Kingsley Pennsylvania. Everything from heavy hauling to coal stripping even road building and a freight line called “Jacks Express” were some of the businesses that followed the start. During these times nearly 200 people were employed. Masters Ready Mixed Concrete was launched in 1951 and is the core business today.

Today Masters Ready Mixed Concrete employs nearly 40 employees at its Kingsley, Montrose, Tunkhannock, and Starlight Plants, as well as producing much of its own aggregates. Red Oak Sand and Gravel generates most of the sand and gravel used in all of our concrete and concrete products.

Although Masters Concrete Products is new, there are years of experience and a great tradition of family, quality, and great employees behind it. Masters Concrete Products is excited to offer a wide range of concrete products to fit many needs.
