Everyone, say hello to Mark! For well over 20 Years Mark has been an integral part of the family. Beginning as a Batch Man and Dispatcher for Wayne Crushed Stone, Mark transferred to the Step Units business after WCS was sold. He’s been running sales, estimating and helping install for Step Units ever since.
A graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Mark has always been a sports junkie. First playing baseball, then basketball, before heading off to Kings College to study Sales & Marketing.
After college Mark honed his sales craft hocking Ludden’s Cough Drops up and down the east coast , before moving onto the Yellow Pages as an advertising sales rep.
Mark’s favorite niche at Step Units is doing custom rail – from the measurements, to specs, to helping mold the design, to perhaps working the install. Mark also thoroughly enjoys meeting new people and customers, as well as being on the road, stating “It makes every day different – you never know what you’re gonna get or who you’re gonna meet! And that’s exciting.”
At home Mark enjoys crossword puzzles and getting in a few rounds on the links when he’s not Day Tripping or traveling with his lovely wife - Debbie. And if it’s Football Season and the Packer’s are playing – just let the man be.
Mark is extremely responsive to customer calls and prides himself on going the extra mile for a customer. We’ve even heard stories of fixing a little old lady’s vacuum while out on an install We are honored to have Mark as a member of the Masters Concrete Family.
