Job Description:
Masters is seeking a full-time professional to work as a Concrete Plant Manager at our Tunkhannock, PA location.  This individual will work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a concrete plant, coordinate plant maintenance repairs and housekeeping, maintain and update the mix design catalog, manage and report inventory levels, and ensure that quality standards are met.  It is expected that other duties assigned by Managers of Masters be carried out with the cooperation of the team. All Managers are asked to govern themselves, in both personal behavior and appearance, to emulate the core values of the company.

Job type: full-time; hourly with overtime, 45-55 hours plus seasonally

Responsibilities:

  • Promote safety and maintain a clean work environment
  • Maintain plant readiness and meet customer needs.
  • Daily attendance and preparation
  • Start-up, operation, and shut down of batch plant on a daily basis
  • Batch concrete in a timely manner to ensure on-schedule deliveries
  • Supervise plant personnel
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedule
  • Communication and teamwork with key relationships
  • Coordinate with quality control department
  • Monitor and document raw materials inventory and maintain necessary levels for production
  • Direct ready mix truck drivers at the plant and when delivering concrete in the area.
  • Coordinate and document plant and equipment maintenance with Maintenance Manager
  • Perform various maintenance duties around the plant and grounds.

Job Description:

Masters is seeking a full-time customer oriented professional to work as a Knuckle Boom Truck Operator at our Olyphant, PA plant location. This individual will deliver and install various precast concrete structures to a variety of customers daily, while providing the best customer service, maintaining high quality control, and safely operating all tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-Time; Hourly with Overtime, 45-55 hours plus seasonally

  • No Knuckle Boom experience required.
  • On site paid training.
  • Home every night.
  • No ELD’s
  • Drivers are assigned to their own truck.

Qualifications:

  • CDL A or B required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times daily.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, squat, bend, reach, grasp, lift, load, push, and pull throughout the day.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience is preferred.
  • General construction tools and methods is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote safety and perform safe practices at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain and operate a clean, safe vehicle per all federal DOT regulations.
  • Adherence to set delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Production of precast concrete products (cleaning and oiling forms, placement of steel reinforcement, pouring and finishing concrete, packaging, yarding, and loading product, etc.)
  • Pre and post inspection of products and forms.
  • Safe operation of forklifts, skid steers, and overhead cranes.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Setting up forms for custom precast products following blueprints.

Requirements

  • One year of construction or masonry experience (preferred).
  • Basic hand and power tool knowledge.5

Masters is seeking a full-time customer and relationship focused sales professional to service and expand our ready mix concrete market. The candidate would be responsible for promoting and selling concrete and associated products to market segments that include commercial, residential, industrial, and state DOT customers. This individual will build and maintain relationships with customers, develop opportunities through customer and industry networks, and serve the relationship between company and customer in a safe, professional manner that aligns with Masters core values.

Job Type: Full-Time; Salary $60-$90,000 based on experience

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Bachelors preferred
  • Two Years of sales experience, preferred
  • Technical knowledge of concrete and mix designs, preferred
  • Ready mix concrete industry or construction materials background, preferred
  • ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing Certification (or obtain within 1 year)
